Dr. Kwape Mmela is the Founder of Moepi Group Ltd. Previously, Dr. Mmela was the Managing Director of Mmela Management Consulting in Sandton, South Africa. Mr. Mmela also sat as the Deputy Chairman of Platmin Limited, an independent developing mid-tier producer of platinum group metals. In previous positions, he has acted as the Chief Strategy Officer and Mineral Rights Advisor. He has held the position in the civil service as a Land Reform Officer. Mr. Mmela is an active member of several groups, including: Black Management Forum, Black Business Council, Business Unity South Africa and World Economic Forum on Africa and Institute of Directors.
Mr. Kwape Mmela is a graduate of the Doctor of Professional Studies program. He is trained as a lawyer (LL.B.) at The University of the North in South Africa where he also completed a B.Proc.
